A. Medication information in France with Goodmed
At my previous company, Synapse Medicine, we developed Goodmed, a mobile app designed to provide users with essential drug information. Recognizing the SEO potential, we implemented a programmatic SEO strategy to create thousands of web pages using Gatsby.js. These pages targeted users searching for medication information in France. To efficiently index these pages, we utilized the Google Search Console API, overcoming Google’s daily indexing limits. Over the course of a quarter, these medication pages became a major traffic driver, accounting for over 80% of our website’s traffic—around 100,000 searches per month. This traffic significantly boosted app installations, making it one of the top three acquisition channels for Goodmed.
B. Driving traffic to my side project, Algerian Tech
For my side project, Algerian Tech, I applied programmatic SEO to increase traffic by creating landing pages showcasing Algerian startup institutions. This approach, implemented in late June, has started to show promising results, with impressions steadily increasing and totaling over 1,200 so far. To further enhance traffic, I plan to create standardized templates for all startups listed and dedicated landing pages for each. This will expand content and improve the chances of ranking for specific startup names.
